By booking services or using this website, you agree to the following Terms of Service.
Services
Molly Van Roekel provides live wedding painting, guest portraits, studio commissions, and related custom artwork services. All services are subject to availability and acceptance.
Booking & Payment
A non-refundable retainer is required to reserve your date and services.
Remaining balances are due according to your contract or invoice terms.
Failure to pay balances on time may result in cancellation or modification of services.
Artistic Style & Creative Discretion
By booking, you acknowledge that artistic interpretation is subjective. You are hiring Molly Van Roekel for her unique artistic style and creative vision. Minor variations in color, composition, or detail are inherent to original artwork and are not grounds for refunds.
Event Conditions
Client agrees to provide reasonable working conditions, including but not limited to:
Adequate space to paint
Adequate places to use the bathroom
Reasonable access to the event and subjects
Access to water
Cooperation from venue staff when needed
Molly Van Roekel is not responsible for delays or limitations caused by venue restrictions, lighting, weather, guest interference, or other conditions beyond her control. However, she will do her upmost to ensure a good experience for her clients.
Copyright & Reproduction Rights
All artwork created by Molly Van Roekel is protected under United States copyright law.
Molly Van Roekel retains full copyright ownership of all artwork.
Clients receive ownership of the physical artwork only.
Molly Van Roekel retains the perpetual right to photograph, reproduce, display, and use images of the artwork for portfolio, website, social media, marketing, advertising, publications, and promotional purposes.
Clients may not reproduce, sell, or create derivative works of the artwork for commercial purposes without written permission.
All artwork is copyrighted by Molly Van Roekel. All rights reserved.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
Retainers are non-refundable.
Rescheduling is subject to availability and may incur additional fees.
If the event is canceled, all payments made may be forfeited as liquidated damages for reserved time and lost booking opportunities.
Limitation of Liability
Molly Van Roekel shall not be held liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Liability is limited to the amount paid for services.

All paintings on this website, including images, text, and designs, is the property of Molly Van Roekel and is protected by copyright law. Unauthorized use is prohibited. Select photographs are the property of their respective photographers, used with permission, and will be linked as such.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the state in which Molly Van Roekel operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
