Every person has something that can be considered their art form, and their process. Mine happens to be painting.
I love weddings, I love the atmosphere of celebration- the way I can feel the love between the happy couple and their array of friends and family. I love the heartfelt expressions of joy and the rituals like cutting the cake. It brings me so much joy to dance with a grandma or two, joke around with the bridesmaids and be a part of something unforgettable.
I welcome all couples with openness and respect. All cultures, all kinds of weddings & celebrations. LGBTQ+ couples, you're safe with me!
Love, in all it's forms, is at the core of my creative practice. The act of choosing one another is so powerful. It is rare, and it is beautiful. Capturing the feeling of love is my goal in my work.
I love to talk with your guests, joke around, let the kiddos paint a brush stroke or two, dance with your bridal party, and generally be a joy to celebrate with.
You've learned through the wedding planning process how creative weddings are. Each decision holds a lot of weight! Paintings are the same way.

Every artist needs a creative team! My feline managers don't care about my sleep schedule, they are very strict about timelines (their food schedule) and they have no regard for personal space. I am in contact with HR (Ron is HR) but so far there has been no response to my emails.
I am obsessed with Preacher's Son in Bentonville. It's so magical. My other favorites are K-Pot and Supermercado Teranda in Rogers.
I want to paint in the Netherlands! I'm Dutch, and my dream would be to paint in Delft. But anywhere in the Netherlands would be incredible. Someday I want to live there, and i'm in the process of learning the language.
I'm a stereotypical pisces, romantic and a huge dreamer. I also love watercolors so that checks out!
You'll find me outside in nature! I love to scoot around the Razorback Greenway. I'm a beginning weight lifter, which comes way more in handy for a painter than you'd think- holding a brush up for hours to paint is actually hard! I can make a delicious macaroon and I love to go get boba tea.
I’ve been an illustrator for fourteen years working with clients around the world to create children’s books, book covers, wedding invitations, clipart, and greeting cards has been one of my greatest joys. I love the collaboration, and I love bringing creative visions to life.

Love is love. My artistic practice does not exclude anyone, and I am a member of the LGBTQ community myself. You are safe with me!
My artistic background includes Memphis College of Art, which had a special focus on accurately replicating skin tones and features for people of color. This should be standard in all painting curriculum.
Whether it be a commitment ceremony, a handfasting, or any other type of cultural, alternative or non-traditional ceremony, I'd love to celebrate your love.
Painting here in Northwest Arkansas is simply magical. I love the greenery on the leaves of the trees, and the atmospheric perspective as the rolling hills fade into the distance. It creates such a beautiful background for wedding paintings. The mountains are covered in blooming wildflowers, and are just teeming with life. So much of the architecture here is gorgeous for weddings, we really have world class venues here in the river valley.
I grew up in the Ozarks, and it wasn't until I moved to the city that I realized how important it is to have such a huge amount of trees and so much nature nearby to inspire me.
I'm also so inspired by the exhibitions at Crystal Bridges, and anytime I feel creatively blocked- I just go look at the problems and solutions that other artists have already solved. Just looking at other art teaches me so much.
