Live wedding paintings are more than just art. They are a piece of your love story. I paint in real time, in front of you and all of your guests. Friends and family love to watch the painting progress throughout the night, and the reactions are always priceless. As a professional live wedding painter serving Kansas City and beyond, I love to be present with you as you take this big step together into your future.
My style is not about capturing every single detail like a camera does. I'm here to capture the emotions, the feelings and the indescribable vibe of your wedding. I am a classically trained painter, with a special emphasis for light and color. My live wedding painting style lands somewhere between realism and modern impressionism.
The finished artwork becomes a timeless heirloom, one that can be cherished for generations to come.
I serve couples throughout Kansas City, including Overland Park, Olatha, Lee's Summit, Parkville, Lawrence and surrounding KC communities. I also travel for destination weddings across Kansas, Missouri and beyond.
The ritual of a wedding is so meaningful, it’s publicly being seen and chosen by your person. I am always moved by the love stories I am invited to be a part of and I am honored that you are considering me to be a part of yours.
I’ve experienced deep love and deep loss myself, and it taught me how important it is to honor love while we have it.
Every painting is a time capsule of feeling, and I want you to look at your painting and remember how it felt to be there.
We check to make sure I'm available on your big day, discuss logistics and travel. Reach out HERE.
We chat about your vision for your painting and the special moment you have in mind. We handle the contract, retainer and get your date officially on my books.
I arrive early to your venue, taking note of what makes your wedding special and the vibes. I set up and start painting as your guests arrive. Typically this will be the background of your chosen space.
If your moment is during the ceremony, I snap a few photos alongside your photographer, and take it back to my easel to begin painting you into your art! Your loved ones get to watch as the painting comes to life.
I finish up the artwork at your wedding, at the hotel, or at home in my studio, depending on which package you choose and how far from my studio your wedding is.
I believe in clear, upfront pricing, with no hidden fees or surprises. I want you to feel comfortable, informed and excited about your investment from the very beginning. My prices are right here on my website. I don't gatekeep my pricing and I'm happy to explain any of my policies or add-ons.

Yes! In addition to live wedding painting, I also paint at quinceañeras, faith dedications, corporate events, festivals, charity events, sports events, grand openings, anniversaries, and other special events throughout Kansas City and beyond.
Yes, I can! For coordination and planning purposes, I request that you loop the wedding planner or coordinator in on the surprise. That way we can plan for when I will be revealed to the couple! Weddings are often timed very carefully, so we don’t want to throw everything off.
I typically book 3–6 months in advance for weddings. However, I always welcome last-minute bookings when possible. My availability is very limited because I am only one person, so inquire to find out if your date is available!
I bring all of my own materials and supplies, including my own power source. If you’d like, you can provide a chair to match your décor, but I handle everything else so setup is seamless.
Yes! I offer custom studio commissions and can create a wedding painting from your favorite photos. Visit my Commissions page to learn more about turning your wedding memories into a bespoke piece of art.
Absolutley. I am honored to paint couples of all backgrounds and cultures. There are absolutely no restrictions with this- I love the beautiful natural variation in skin tones. If there’s any specific cultural details you’d like me to include- for instance your henna, or a moment from a handfasting ceremony, I would be happy to.
LGBTQ+ weddings are always welcome! You're safe and supported with me!
