Blush Bloom Studio offers life guest portrait painting for weddings and other events in Northwest Arkansas, Fayetteville, Bentonville, Rogers, and beyond. Guests can choose between two signature styles: fashion-forward faceless editorial sihlouettes or refined fine art monochrome watercolor portraits. Each portrait is painted live during your cocktail hour and reception, creating an unforgettable guest experience. Perfect for couples seeking unique wedding entertainment, personalized wedding favors, and a luxury live art experience.
This style of painting is for those who know their guests are going to turn up in their absolute finest, and want to give them a fun, interactive experience. It focuses on the overall shapes and styles of the clothes your guests are wearing. I use pen and watercolors with this style of portrait, and no faces are painted.
This style of painting is very elegant, classic and allows me to focus on the likenesses of your guests. This style focuses less on people's bodies and their clothes, and focuses more on making it look like it's really them. This means yes, I paint their faces! There's no lines from pencils or pens, it is directly painted on the paper.
You can choose your hours whenever you would like- I would recommend cocktail hour and the reception afterwards. If you choose the 8 hour package, we can have me work on painting your bridal party and close family during your first look or while you're getting ready.
If you add a detailed watercolor painting of the couple, I can complete it in-studio before or after your wedding, or paint it while your venue is being cleaned after your guests have left. It makes for a lovely decoration during your reception, so creating it before is preferred!
No, there is no price difference between my two painting styles. Each takes me about 6-7 minutes for a couple.
I totally get it! You have the choice to add on a second painter, so we can both cover your entire guest list during your wedding, or I could paint the remaining guests in my studio. You send the finished paintings out with your thank you notes. These are priced at $20 per couple / $10 per guest.
Please note: second painters have their own fee structure, art style and timeline needs. Please reach out in advance for pricing + availability.
My retainer is 50% of the total cost of your package, plus travel costs. I have a retainer because in order to reserve my services for you, I will have to turn away other couples who may want your date.
The remaining 50% of your package will be due the day of your wedding. You may pay it at any time before.
I typically book 3–6 months in advance for weddings. However, I always welcome last-minute bookings when possible. My availability is very limited because I am only one person, so inquire to find out if your date is available!
If you would like to make payments slowly over time, that is totally okay! I can make you an invoice via Paypal, which supports Paypal's Pay Later feature. This allows you to pay over time and choose the option that is right for you.
You can create a wedding registry for my services! Once your package retainer is paid in full, I’ll make a custom landing page for you on my website with details and a form for your loved ones. Guests can choose to donate anonymously or be credited for their contributions. If someone wants to give the full amount but stay anonymous, I won’t reveal their identity. Any remaining balance is due the day before your wedding.

Yes, you absolutely can gift my guest portraits. If it is a surprise, I highly recommend telling one person in the couple beforehand. Typically I say whoever is most perfectionistic / the biggest planner should be informed. However, I can also make it a total surprise. In order to do so, I require the contact information of the wedding planner / coordinator for the wedding. I will need prior approval from them before I can accept retainers or contracts from you.

You are welcome to reserve a hotel room in your city if you are in the inner circle area, but it is never a requirement for booking.
The farther out the venue, the more a hotel room is appreciated. Venues in NWA and surrounding areas are local and hotels are not needed.

If you prefer, you can book my hotel yourself. If you'd rather I book the hotel instead, a $150 hotel fee will be added to your retainer.

Travel to the rest of the US requires a three night hotel minimum. You'll need to get the night before your wedding, the night of your wedding, and the night after your wedding. This is because the extra night will allow me to complete your painting in your city, as soon as possible after your wedding without requiring complex logistics to ship it back to you.
If you prefer to book my flight + hotel yourself, that is fine by me. If you'd rather I book them, I will add a $450 hotel fee to your retainer. For the flights, we will discuss pricing on a case by case basis as different cities are dramatically cheaper or more expensive depending on the distance of travel needed.
