What is your pricing?
Live wedding paintings are an investment piece. They will be passed down through the family and I use artist quality canvases and paint to ensure that your piece is archival (won’t fade with age).
My pricing starts at $900 for the standard 20X20″ Plein Air style painting.
For a 30×30″ A La Prima painting, the pricing is $1,500.
My Ultimate painting starts at $2,000 and it includes an additional 8 hours of studio time after your wedding.
Pricing is for bride + groom only- painting additional guests incurs additional costs.
I can create custom packages for you if you would like- custom canvas sizes are available. I also offer stand-alone bouquet paintings as well if you’d like a floral touch!
What is the process like?
Booking:
First, we have to make sure your wedding date is available! Reach out to me here to inquire if I am free on your wedding date. I recommend that you do this earlier than you think- it breaks my heart to have to tell a couple no because someone has already booked me!
Retainer + fees:
I will send you a contract and you pay a retainer fee. My retainers are 50% of the total cost of the package you choose, plus any travel costs. When the contract is signed and retainer paid, I am officially booked for your date! Your final payment will be due on the night of your wedding, but you are welcome to pay it before if you prefer.
The Morning of your Wedding:
I will show up to your wedding 2-3 hours before the ceremony to set up, meet you, talk logistics with your planner (or a designated person) and get ready. If the painting will feature a lot of architecture, I may do a bit of perspective line work in pencil before as well.
Ceremony:
I typically begin painting the background of your painting when your guests begin arriving. They love to watch it develop from a blank canvas! During your ceremony, I will take a reference photo to use while painting. You can choose what moment you prefer- if you prefer a moment that will take place later in the night, I typically will take a reference photo for posing immediately after the ceremony. I may also request a secondary photo reference if I feel there’s a need for a different photo.
Reception:
When your guests leave the ceremony space, I will go with them, set up in a secondary location. Typically couples prefer for me to be in a prominent place during the reception so guests can watch me paint!
In the vast majority of cases, your painting will be completed on site at your wedding. So far, I have never needed to do additional work after a wedding! My couples have taken the painting with them after the reception.
If additional work is required or if you chose the Ultimate series which includes studio time, I will take the painting back with me to my hotel or my studio. Weddings that take place 2+ hours from my home will typically be completed in the hotel after your wedding, and handed off to a designated family member or friend for safekeeping.
Can you paint my culture? Do you paint LGBTQ+ weddings?
I am more than happy to paint any couple. There are absolutely no restrictions with this- I love the beautiful natural variation in skin tones. If there’s any specific cultural details you’d like me to include- for instance your henna, or a moment from a handfasting ceremony, I would be happy to.
LGBTQ+ weddings are very welcome!
Do you do events besides weddings?
Yes, I do! I can do quinceañeras, faith dedications, corporate events, festivals, charity events, sports events, grand openings, anniversaries and more.
Reach out to me for pricing for events. Depending on your vision for the event, pricing may vary.
What do you need to set up at my wedding?
I have backups for my backups at a wedding. I will bring everything I need. I don’t even need a power cable- I bring my own power bank, just in case. If you’d like me to use any special matching equipment, chairs, or if you’d like me to decorate my painting area with flowers from your florist, I’m happy to accommodate.
Can you do a wedding as a surprise?
Yes, I can! For coordination and planning purposes, it’s best that you loop the wedding planner or coordinator in on the surprise. That way we can plan for when I will be revealed to the couple! Weddings are often timed very carefully, so we don’t want to throw everything off.

I highly recommend that at least one person in the couple be informed of my presence prior to your wedding!
How do I book with you?
To book, first we have to check to make sure I’m available on your wedding date. Once you’re confirmed, I require a 50% deposit + any travel or hotel fees to secure your date. You can pay the rest at the wedding, or anytime before.
My wedding is over, but I really want a painting from you. Can you work from a photo?
Yes, I can! I love to do “studio work” as well. I also offer a discount for weddings in which I do not need to be present.
Do you travel for weddings?
I travel for weddings!
First 100 miles (about 2 hours) are included for free. (the light pink inner circle)
After that, standard mileage fees apply. ($0.67 per mile past the 100 mile range)
If your wedding is more than 120 miles away, I’ll need a hotel for the night of your wedding —driving home at 3am after painting is not very safe! (the dark pink circle)

If you live outside the 6 hour radius (the grey states) I can fly to you. My local airport is XNA. Flight fees and lodging is not included.
If you wish to have me travel to you internationally, I can do that!
