Gift a Live Wedding Painting

Here’s how to start!
If you would like to gift my services as a live wedding painter, you’re in the right place! Live paintings can be a surprise for the happy couple, or you can choose to let them know in advance. I love to do surprise reveals, because it’s such a unique and thoughtful way to celebrate a couple- by gifting an heirloom piece that will be cherished for generations.
Step 1:
Reach out to Molly to inquire if the wedding date is currently available. It’s a good idea to do this quickly, as wedding dates tend to fill up fast.
Step 2:
Fill out my contract and pay the 50% deposit to reserve the date. You can pay the other half on the day of the wedding or in advance. Up to you!
Step 3:
On the day of the wedding, I’ll make a special tag for you and a bow + tag for my canvas, so it’s clear who gifted this experience to the couple. Groups of gifters can get a very long tag. 🙂

Should I make it a surprise, or not?
Do surprise if…
… you know that both people in the couple love to be surprised.
… both people in the couple have a “live and let live” spontaneous personality.
… you know the wedding planner’s phone number or email address so I can coordinate timing and a reveal with them.
Don’t surprise if…
… both people in the couple could be described as “Type A” and love to plan every detail.
… you are not sure about what scene the couple would like me to paint. Most couples want the first kiss, but some do prefer a different moment!
… you’re not sure who the wedding planner is, or who I could contact about logistics.
My recommendation is for you to tell one person in the couple- the one who likes to do the most planning. That way, the couple can still have input on their painting, even in an indirect way. It’s a lot of fun to plan something like this in cahoots with just one half of the couple and makes for an unforgettable reveal.
